Itinerary:

7.30am - Meet at STASH

To start the day off right, we'll be meeting at STASH for a Bacon & Egg Roll brekkie, which they've offered to host for us (Huge thank you to the STASH team - greatly appreciated!).

For those of you that are running corn juice (ie E85), there is a Freedom Fuels (ex-United) petrol station 10min up the road along Windsor Road. Anyone needing to fill up will have the chance to do so before we leave from STASH at 8.30am. We suggest you fill up your tank and jerry cans there before joining us at STASH.

8.15am - Cruise Briefing

As with all SAUNSW cruises, we'll hold our brief prior to departing from STASH. We'll hold this a touch earlier than usual so that it gives everyone enough time for everyone to finish brekkie, head to the bathroom, etc., before we make the 2.5hr trek to Mt Panorama!

8.30am - Departure

To make sure we maximise our time on the mount, we'll be leaving STASH at 8.30am SHARP!

The route is fairly simple and straight-forward - we'll head from STASH to Windsor Road, where we'll turn RIGHT to head north. We'll be turning LEFT onto Hawkesbury Valley Way (at the McDonald's/ KFC) and continue through to Richmond where we'll zig-zap onto Bells Line of Road (LEFT on to E Market Street then RIGHT onto March Street).

March Street eventually turns into Bells Line of Road, which is what we'll stay on unit we reach Lithgow. In Lithgow, we'll then turn RIGHT on to the Great Western Highway, which will take us all the way to Bathurst!

11.00am - Arrival at Mt Panorama

The drive from Rouse Hill to the glorious Mt Panorama will take approx. 2.5hrs, so once we get to the mighty mount, we'll need to have a stretch and a break... This year, we've booked out Pit Lane again so we'll pull into the exit of Pit Lane at the track and park up all of our cars so we can have a stretch, chat and get some photos.

Toilets are available at the National Motor Racing Museum at the entry/roundabout at the track for those needing to use them.

11.30am - Cruise the Mount

After a nice 30min break and chin-wag, we'll have a quick brief in the pits before we all cruise the track together as a massive convoy heading clockwise around the track (as usual)! We'll fit in as many laps as possible within 30min so we can give all of our photographers as many opportunities as possible to snap up some wicked shots of all of our cars!

12.00pm - 30min Break

After our first cruise session, we'll take another 30min break in the pits so we can stretch our legs once more, as well as give our photographers a chance to set up in new locations around the track..

12.30pm - 2nd Cruise around the Mount

After our second break, we'll head back out on to the track for another few laps / 30min session around the mount. We'll likely run around the track in the opposite direction to the first cruise session, but will decide on the day, pending our photographers.

1.00pm - Pit Stop

After our second session out on the track, we'll stop into the pits once again and will hang out here for at least another hour. This will give everyone the chance to take a few solo laps around the track they choose, as well as an opportunity for everyone to get one final break before a long trek home.

At this stage, the cruise will essentially be over, and everyone will be free to stay or head home as they choose. The SAUNSW team usually stays for a late lunch, which all are welcome to join!

This would be a great chance for anyone wanting to go to the National Motor Racing Museum to go and check out all of the motoring history they have on display!

2.00pm - Home or Late Lunch

For anyone wanting to stick around for a late lunch with the SAUNSW team, we'll be heading to The Oxford Bathurst (address: 170 William Street, Bathurst) for a decent feed before heading home.

There's no set time that we'll be heading home, so we'll be playing things by ear! We won't be making any bookings for lunch at this venue so for those wanting to join, it will be first come, first serve.

Now that you must be buzzing with excitement, definitely make sure you clear the calendar and join us for one of the best events in our yearly calendar!

Please be mindful that Mount Panorama usually has a police presence to ensure no silliness takes place. Please ensure you remain on your best behaviour and follow all road rules while at the Mount!

As always, we will have a lead and follow car so no one should get lost.

If you would like to attend or bring others along please put your name down and a +1 as numbers will be needed prior!

This is NOT a race and we will all be adhering to all road rules. Mount Panorama is made up of public roads, and will be treated as such for this event!

This is an official SAUNSW event and will be run under a Motorsports Australia permit.

One of the things that really sets our club apart is our commitment to being true enthusiasts. When on normal roads we strive to maintain good relations with the authorities as well as the public in general.

When attending one of SAUNSW events please try to:

• Be aware of surrounding environment and act accordingly.

• Drive courteously on the state’s roads as a true enthusiast should.

• Understand how important it is to maintain the good name of SAUNSW and thus, treat others accordingly.

• Any misbehaviour will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave.

Thanks guys and hope to see you there!
